Saving Animals and Finding Homes

The Eastbourne Animal Center is owned and operated by Monroe County Friends of Animals, a nonprofit charitable organization. The newly built facility was made possible through generous donations and replaces the formerly owned county shelter located next door. 

The staff consists of an Executive Director, an Animal Care Manager, an Animal Care Supervisor, several Animal Care Specialists and Administrative personnel employees. The center is supported by volunteers of the Monroe County Friends of Animals (MCFA). 

Together our mission is to: “Provide for and continuously improve the health, happiness and fortunes of the homeless and abandoned cats and dogs in Monroe County”
