At Monroe County Friends of Animals (MCFA), we understand that sometimes families face financial hardships that can affect their furry family members. Our Pet Food Pantry program is for temporary assistance to families and individuals in Monroe County who need help feeding their pets. Through the generosity of our community & sponsors, we will try our best to ensure that no pet goes hungry.
Program Details:
  - Eligibility: Open to Monroe County residents experiencing temporary financial hardship.
- Distribution Days: If food is available we typically distribute it on the 1st Monday of the month. If that Monday is a holiday, we will hold it on the following Monday.
- Location: Eastbourne Animal Center, 130 Kefauver Ln, Madisonville.
- Food Limit: Regardless of the total # of cats or dogs you own or feed,  the food you will receive will be limited up to 2 cats and 2 dogs per household, once per month. In some situations if we have a shortage of food, we may need to reduce this to max of 1 dog & 1 cat.
How to Support the Pet Food Pantry:
  - Donate: Donate unopened bags of cat and dog food are always needed & greatly appreciated. Financial donations also be done using button below!
- Volunteer: Join our team of volunteers to help organize and distribute food on pantry days or during one of the Food Rebagging sessions on Sunday or Monday from 1-3pm. Submit a Volunteer application and ask to help with the Pet Food Pantry! https://mcfriendsofanimals.org/volunteer
