Pet Food Assistance Progam

At Monroe County Friends of Animals (MCFA), we understand that sometimes families face financial hardships that can affect their furry family members. Our Pet Food Pantry program is for temporary assistance to families and individuals in Monroe County who need help feeding their pets. Through the generosity of our community, we can ensure that no pet goes hungry.


Program Details:

  • Eligibility: Open to Monroe County residents experiencing temporary financial hardship.
  • Distribution Days: Food is distributed the 1st Monday of the month.
  • Time: Noon to 2 PM, or until supplies run out.
  • Location: Eastbourne Animal Center, 130 Kefauver Ln, Madisonville.
  • Food Limit: Up to 2 cats and 2 dogs per household once per month regardless of total number of pets in household; sorry!


How to Support the Pet Food Pantry:

  • Donate: Donate unopened bags of cat and dog food are always needed & greatly appreciated. Financial donations also be done using button below!
  • Volunteer: Join our team of volunteers to help organize and distribute food on pantry days. Submit a Volunteer application!


Our Pet Food Pantry is more than just a program; it's a commitment to the welfare of the family cats & dogs in Monroe County, TN. We aim to support your cats & dogs in need during your temporary setback with the hope that your pets can remain with the families who love them.
