Pet Food Assistance Progam

At Monroe County Friends of Animals (MCFA), we understand that sometimes families face financial hardships that can affect their furry family members. Our Pet Food Pantry program is designed to provide temporary assistance to families and individuals in Monroe County who need help feeding their pets. Through the generosity of our community, we can ensure that no pet goes hungry.

Program Details:

  • Eligibility: Open to Monroe County residents experiencing temporary financial hardship.
  • Distribution Days: Food is distributed on the 1st Monday of each month.
  • Time: Noon to 2 PM, while supplies last.
  • Location: Eastbourne Animal Center, 130 Kefauver Ln, Madisonville.
  • Food Limit: Up to 2 cats and 2 dogs per household once per month.

How to Support the Pet Food Pantry:

  • Donate: We rely on donations to keep this program running. Unopened bags of cat and dog food are always needed and greatly appreciated.
  • Volunteer: Join our team of volunteers to help organize and distribute food on pantry days.

Our Pet Food Pantry is more than just a program; it's a commitment to the welfare of pets and their families in our community. We aim to support pets in need through temporary setbacks and ensure they remain with the families who love them.
